Shygar is small jewelry company that specializes in making jewelry out of polymer clay canes. Although other mediums are used the vast majority of our work is used from the canes that are designed and made by Shy.
Shiela may (Shy) Tamayo is the founder and head designer for ShyGar. She began her jewelry making career a few years ago making hand rolled paper beads. She quickly learned to make polymer clay canes. Her designs are influenced by the beauty of nature. Shy was surrounded
by native artist in her home in the Philippines. She discovered her talent once she came to United States and after giving birth to her first son Gabriel. ShyGar is Shy's nickname and the initials of her son.
